Allentown is a destination rife with recreational opportunities and scenic parks, including the Cedar Beach Area, the Old-Fashioned Rose Town and Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom. Three institutions of higher education, as well as the Kemerer Museum of Decorative Arts, are located in Bethlehem. Easton, one of America's earliest industrial centers, is home to the Crayola Factory, which offers tours that show how crayons are molded, labeled and packed, as well as interactive exhibits and craft stations for children. Every July, Whitehall is abuzz with blues musicians for the Lehigh Valley Blues Fest, an extravaganza of concerts, open jams and fun activities.
